‘Psychological Safety: What it is, the impact it’s absence and presence can have and how as leaders we can consciously create more of it for ourselves, our teams, and organisations’.

At BRIDGE we believe in the power of convening spaces for connection, learning and shared meaning making and would like to invite you to join us in an exploration of ‘Psychological Safety: What it is, the impact it’s absence and presence can have and how as leaders, we can consciously create more of it for ourselves, our teams, and organisations.’

For more than 30 years, BRIDGE has been learning how to create the conditions that enable groups to both support and challenge each other, for every member to feel seen, heard and safe to be themselves, that allow for emergent dialogue, which in turn enables bold new ideas and experimentation to flow and ultimately accelerates sustainable performance.

In the last five years and thanks to the work of Amy Edmondson in her 2018 book The Fearless Organization: Creating Psychological Safety in the Workplace for Learning, Innovation, and Growth – there has been increasing discourse about the concept and the role psychological safety plays in driving organisational success.

As the pace of change and uncertainty continues to increase around us, psychological safety is fast becoming accepted as one of the most important aspects of culture to be created and therefore one of the leadership capacities most needed.

In this virtual hangout, we will share some new thinking and create the space to explore these concepts with a broad range of experienced professionals for whom this territory is also relevant and of interest
