Changemakers - Henry De Sio

The organizations that will survive and thrive in the next 5-10 years will look unrecognizable from the ones we see today. This event and conversation will explore how leaders and organizations can confidently initiate positive and productive change and transform their people and teams into changemakers.

Hon. Henry F. De Sio, Jr is known as the global ambassador for changemakers. A leadership advisor, campaign and organizational strategist, and keynote speaker, he has led both start-ups and large, complex organizations. As the 2008 Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Barack Obama’s presidential campaign, and then serving as Deputy Assistant to the President in the Obama White House for two-and-a-half years,  De Sio came to be intimately acquainted with a new emerging pattern of societal change. He has since followed his campaign-driven passion for hope and change to make changemaking a global phenomenon.

Henry has partnered with the BRIDGE team over the past year and his philosophy and new book (Changemaker Playbook: The New Physics of Leadership in a World of Explosive Change) reflect much of the design and thinking behind BRIDGE’s change leadership programs.

In this session Henry will share insights into what it takes to unleash the changemaker effect in your organization, after which there will be time for Q&A. This will be followed by an invitation to join a facilitated breakout to discuss how to tap into the changemaker effect in your organization with likeminded peers.
